DEAN
Dean was born and raised in Hongeun-dong, Seoul, South Korea. He developed an interest in American hip hop and rap in middle school and began singing in high school. At the age of 17, Dean started in the world of composition under the name Deanfluenza. It is at this age where he composed the song "One Less Lonely Girl" for Justin Bieber.
In 2012 at the age of 20, he joined the company Joombas Music Group, which had a direct connection with Los Angeles, USA. Thanks to this company he was able to compose and produce several songs, both in Korea and in the United States. In Korea he wrote songs like "Growl" and "Black Pearl" for the band EXO. "VOODOO DOLL" for the band VIXX. Being great successes both nationally and worldwide. In 2014 he composed again for the band VIXX on his album "Eternity".
In 2015, Dean debuted in the United States with the single "I'm Not Sorry", featuring Eric Bellinger. He debuted in South Korea in October with his second single "Pour Up", featuring Block B's rapper Zico, was named Best R&B and Soul Song at the Korean Music Awards.In this same year, Dean composed again for the band EXO in their song "Unfair", in the same way he composed for the band UNIQ the song "EOEO".
In 2016, Dean released the single "What 2 Do", featuring Crush and Jeff Bernat. In March, he released his first EP 130 mood: TRBL, which he wrote and produced with collaborators. The EP charted at No. 10 on the Gaon Album Chart, No. 3 on the Billboard World Albums chart. He had several collaborations, Heize's single "Shut Up & Groove" and "And July", and a collaboration on a single and music video with Zico and Crush, named "Bermuda Triangle”, which debuted on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart at No. 3. Also, Dean wrote and produced for other artists, such as two tracks for Lee Hi's album Seoulite; he also created songs for Block B, Boys Republic and BASTARZ, a Block B sub-unit.

In 2017, Dean released his third solo work, a single album Limbo; “Come Over", the title track, quickly rose to the top of South Korean music charts.At the end of the year, he released the single "Instagram", the song topped all local music charts in South Korea. In 2018, he has since released single "Dayfly", collaborating with artists Radmuseum and Sulli.
In 2019, Dean released his fourth single “Howlin’ 404” at the same time of his performance during Seoul Jazz Festival 2019. In July, Dean joined the group FANXY CHILD (Zico, Crush, Penomeco, Millic and Stay Tuned) would be holding concerts in Seoul, South Korea at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium. At the same time, FANXY CHILD would make a comeback with their single album “Y”. Dean appeared on Crush's album “From Midnight to Sunrise” on the song “Wake Up”. In 2020, Dean announced his first single of the year called "breath" that features Rad Museum and Mokyo.




Well I listen to some Kpop songs but never from him, thanks to your biography it makes me curious to know how he sings and how he composes, maybe it is my task after all since as you name it, it has been very successful.

DeleteI've Never listened about this guy, but with the relevant things that you share with us about his biography; sounds that he is a real talent man that is not a start one day to another, instead of that, he has been shown that every opportunities that he have had is because of his effort.
